Hold Your Own Event

Holding your own fundraising event can be fun and easy.  Gather your friends and a bucket of water, and you'll find yourself in the middle of a carwash!  See if the bakery down the street will donate day-old muffins, and you have an easy bake-sale! 

Other Fundraising Ideas:

  • Encourage local stores to participate in a puzzle piece campaign.
  • Host a weekend BBQ.
  • Have a no dress code or dress down day for a donation.
  • Offer gift wrapping services at a local store during the holiday season.
  • Have a dance marathon.
  • Hold a garage sale.
  • Ask a local restaurant to donate a portion of the proceeds from one night & invite people from the school to attend your Dine for Donations Dinner.
  • Organize a wacky hat day.
  • Hold an Ice Cream Social.
  • Sell flowers on Valentine's Day.
  • Sell green carnations on St Patrick's Day.
  • Work at your school's concession stand during home games.
  • Host a Bingo night.
  • Roll spare change.
  • Organize a teachers vs. students softball or basketball.
  • Bag groceries for charity.
  • Recycle cans and newspapers.

  Useful Tips:

  • Remember to advertise your event before hand with flyers and posters. 
  • Make big signs for the day of your event so everyone can find you.
